Menu display issues on all mobile devices (2 posts)

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can advise me.

I’m using the Twenty Eleven 1.3 theme for my website, http://www.pivotrpo.co.uk

When I view the site on any mobile device (Blackberry, i-phone, Samsung) the main navigation menu on the top of the page drops to 3 lines and looks terrible.

Is there a way I can adjust this to make it scale to each device screen size?

I have been told that it’s preferable to have a theme that scales rather than being ‘responsive’ but I have no idea how to go about doing this.

The desirable result would be how this site looks on mobile: http://www.fuelrecruitment.co.uk
This is the site for another company I work for, that was built for us.

PS – I have tried numerous WordPress plug-ins but as yet haven’t found any that support the latest versions of BlackBerrys. I know BBs are on their way out but my boss has one and is quite insistent that the site should work on BBs! : (

    Thanks so much, Michelle

This plugin for the menu works fine most of the time.

    http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/responsive-select-menu/

It will automatically convert your main menu in to a drop down menu. And you can define the screen width when this suppose to be triggered.
