• Hi all, I’m very new to WordPress so I expect this is a simple fix, but I can’t figure it out….

I created a site with 5 pages (static homepage), but on each of the pages the menu displays differently. My homepage shows all 5 tabs, another page will only show 3 tabs, and other pages show all 5 tabs but in different orders…

I’m not sure if I did something to cause this or if I’m missing a step in the process, but for whatever reason its happening. I’ve spent hours playing around with it and finally decided I’d better get some help.

    Thanks!

  • Can you provide us with a link to the site?

The site is http://westerngoldhunter.com/blog . Actually, just checked it again and it appears to be working fine. The specific tab I was having issues with was the “state specific info” tab. It when I would go to that page it would only show 3 pages at the top, rather than 5.

So assuming this is fixed, any ideas why it took so long to correct? How long does it take to update live on the web? I cleared my cache and cookie several times and it didn’t fix it. Now it appears to be working properly even though I didn’t do anything for several hours.

Looks like you have WP Super Cache running on the site so that could be the reason, unless by when you said you cleared your cache you deleted the cache for WP Super Cache.

I’m still seeing the issue (or at least I think) as this is what I see when I go to the State Specific Info menu item: http://i.imgur.com/SDNa23E.png

Hmmm your right, I checked again and its back. Yes, I am seeing the same as the link you provided.

So how do I disable the WP Super Cache?

In your dashboard – Settings->WP Super Cache: Caching Off radio button and then Update Status

That appears to have fixed it. Hopefully it will remain fixed.

    Thank you for the help!
