  • Good evening,

I am using Zenon-lite: afipittman.com. I created my menu and only 1 tab shows up: the first item listed in the menu set up. Did I do something wrong or is there a way to correct this?

  • Afi, I just checked your site and the menu looks fine.

Hello! I’m trying to use Zenon-lite to make sure it does everything I need before moving to ‘Pro’ for the greater options.

I just wondered if you have disabled the ‘posts’ from showing in their entirety? Or whether I’ve done something dumb in my settings. I get the post excerpt showing on the front page, but when I click on it, it just goes to a page of lots of post excerpts but never the full text.

(I know it is easier to use pages for what I want, but you have posts showing on the front page, so I thought I’d see how to use them.)

Is this at all different on the ‘pro’ version? (perhaps can pick ‘pages’ to show on the blocks rather than ‘posts’?)

Thanks for your help! Very lovely theme and I am a total novice at this!

I am using a locally hosted version but I can upload screenshots if useful.

    Landon,

When the post titles an the front-pages are clicked, it should go to the full post pages, if not then you permalink settings has something to do with it, Go to Settings > permalinks and set the option to default.

and its not possible to list pages on front-page.

    brilliant! that solved it. Thanks!

I’ll debate whether having friendly URLs is more important than showing the posts. I like the fact you have the option to remove the posts altogether from the front page.

    Thanks again!

    Landon,

You cannot display friendly urls on localhost.

When you host on an online server, you can use any settings from the permalinks options you want.

And another good news. The latest version of the theme will be Iphone/Ipad and android mobile friendly. Meaning, your site will automatically switch to mobile version when you are viewing the site with a mobile device.

    🙂

oh brilliant! I didn’t know that about permalinks (I suspect there is a lot I don’t know and I will learn!)

absolutely excellent about the latest version! It looked very good on all the things I tried it on, already!

    Thanks for your great help!
