Menu: Change of Font Color for Different Pages (4 posts)

    Hi,

    I'm wondering how to change the font color of the menu from one page to the next?

    For example, on one page, I have a dark blue background and would like the menu text in gold, active in white, and hover in white. Then, on another page, I have a white background and would like the menu text in black, active in gold, hover in white.

    I have seven pages in all and each uses either the gold/white/white or black/gold/white combinations.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

    edit style.css of your theme;

    use a tool such as Firebug http://getfirebug.com/ or similar to find out which css selectors are responsible for the individual page tabs;

    Hmmm . . . seems I was not clear . . . or I'm just misunderstanding (not unusual, unfortunately!)

    I've already got the background images in and know where and how to change the menu text links, but rather than having it the same, universally, throughout the website, I'd like it to be one way on one page and another on a different page.

    Hopefully, that makes sense?! : )

    see if you can possibly use any page specific css class output by the 'body_class()' (if your theme uses it) http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/body_class
