My website [link to non-WoerPress site moderated] is a custom coded site and I need help. It was created in PHP and MySQL. My questions are below

    It has the following capabilities:
-Login to be a member (there will be multiple level memberships) - I heard this requires a lot of coding with regard to the registration
    - Only admin enters Articles, Expert Bio information, Audios on the back end - part of the memberships
    - Admin would also enter information on teleclasses and events (Does this make the membership option even more complicated)
    - I will also be adding video as another membership opportunity
    - I also heard that there is a separate plug in if I want to add a product as a separate part of the membership (what is the name of this plug in?)

Any input on the above would be helpful - Thanks so much

as your site is at the moment not based on WordPress.org, the question is why are you posting in a WordPress.org forum?

    - do you want to integrate WordPress.org into your site?
    see http://codex.wordpress.org/Integrating_WordPress_with_Your_Website

    - do you want to change your site to WordPress?
    see http://codex.wordpress.org/Getting_Started_with_WordPress

after the above, to allow those membership capabalities, consider using a plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/search.php?q=membership&sort=

    Thanks Alchymyth -

That's the reason I am posted here, because I want to integrate my site into a WordPress platform.

I was hoping for more specific answers to my questions.

There are plugins that will do what you ask of a membership site and others that can enhance the experience, however the all require the WordPress core to run. You'd need to get that done first.

    Best,

    Kimberly
