   Greetings,

   I work with a physics teacher organization that has an active postal mailing membership. We use WP for our website, and would like to move our membership database to WP, and limit access to some pages to members only. That piece is easy, and I see several extensions that would do the work. The complexity arises in that we would like to retain postal address information for our members, and do postal mailings once or twice a year. I haven't search exhaustively, but haven't found a membership extension that advertises it will do this.

   Does anyone know of a membership extension that will allow us to import our existing membership database, retaining existing fields including institution, address, city, etc. I figure I'll need to develop our own interface to the database to export/generate mailing labels, but that shouldn't be too hard.

   Anyone know of a Membership extension that would allow me to do this?

   A plugin I have recently started using (for a client) is the WP eMember plugin. It can do most if not all that you want to do.
   Unfortunately it is a Premium plugin at $49.95. The plugin allows for a lot of customization.

   Hiya!

   Membership (both free and premium) would help to make this possible.

   It doesn't give you the postal address stuff but you can use BuddyPress' profile fields feature to add that to the signup form. You can leave all the other BuddyPress features disabled if you want.

   Then you can just retrieve the address details from BuddyPress, which should be a simple query.
