membership expiration date and trial

    Hello,

    I have setup a basic membership level with a monthly billing and set the billing cycle to 0 for indefinite. Expiration is also unchecked.

    however when I register it shows my expiration as month: 01 and year: 2014 in orders. How will this affect the membership access or am I doing something wrong in the membership level setup?

    With the Trial, if I want to give them a free months membership do I just keep the amount to 0 and make the month 1?

    That is actually the expiration month & year on the credit card. It won’t affect your membership at all.

    With the Trial, if I want to give them a free months membership do I just keep the amount to 0 and make the month 1?

    Again, those fields have nothing to do with the memberships. If you want to add a trial, navigate to Memberships > Membership Levels, select the level you want to give a trial, select the Custom Trial checkbox, and fill in the appropriate details.
