I'm responsible for the management of a site with one main blog (visible to everybody) and two private blogs which are meant to function as forums. I'm using Members Only to make the forum-blogs private. The issue is though that the plugin doesn't limit users from blog2 from seeing the content of blog1.

Apparently I'm not the only one who wants to use the plugin like this:

Given the sensitive nature of the content of the private blogs / forums this is really a serious issue.

About 4 months ago I implemented what was shown in the link you mentioned above and it did the trick. Just modify the members-only.php as discussed in the article. It's a bummer-of-a-solution, but the plugin hasn't been updated in 4 years so I think the author must have abandoned it.

Oops, sorry, follow-up. I also employed another plugin called "Force User Login Multisite" which completed the trick!

Thanks - I do hope someone will adopt the plugin.
