Member Login

Hi all,

I am new here, and not very confident with wordpress yet!
Is it possible to have a member login field on the home page (preferably in the menu or next to the title)?
i.e.
Email: …..
Password: …..
(Sign in)

If this can be done, any advice or a plugin that I can install?
