[resolved] Media uploader uploads to wrong directory (2 posts)

I recently changed the structure of my webhosting directory. Previously, wordpress was installed to the root directory. It is now installed in /mysite with my domain pointing to /mysite.

Everything works fine, with the exception of the media uploader. Any time I use it, it creates a new /wp-content folder in the root of my hosting account, and puts images, files, etc. there. However, those are not then accessible or visible within the wordpress installation, because wordpress is looking in /mysite/wp-content.

How can I tell the media uploader where to upload files, so that it will put them in /mysite/wp-content?

Nevermind, I found the solution (here).

Somehow the path had gotten changed. I reset it to wp-content/uploads and it's working fine.
