Media upload = NextGen Gallery?

    I swear I read where NextGen gallery is integrated into WP in 2.5. So if I am wrong there, let me know and I’ll shut up. 🙂

    I use NextGEN heavily on several sites. One of the best features was the ability to group images into galleries and then call that whole gallery and have it display so nicely. That function seems to not be in 2.5, just single image uploading. A great feature but not even close to what NextGEN can do.

    My question: Is there a way to disable the built in gallery and go back to the plugin or should i just roll back to 2.4? I need that gallery function or how to get images to pull in groups that I define, randomly etc… I cant seem to locate any documentation on it if the functionality is there.

    So next gen installs on its own and i figured out that the .93 is available from WordPress.org but on Alex’s site it says .92… confusion officially over. 😛
