    Using the latest Media Tags (3.1.2) on WordPres 3.5.1, I see a Media Tags metabox underneath my normal Tags metabox when adding a new Post, and just below the Page Attributes metabox when adding a new Page.

    This box should probably only be present when adding/editing Media items.

    I agree - imho line 1072 in mediatags_admin.php should be changed from:

    function mediatags_metaboxes() {
    	add_meta_box('tagsdiv-' . MEDIA_TAGS_TAXONOMY,
    		__( 'Media-Tags', MEDIA_TAGS_I18N_DOMAIN ), 'post_tags_meta_box', null, 'side', 'core', array( 'taxonomy' => MEDIA_TAGS_TAXONOMY ));
    }

    to

    function mediatags_metaboxes() {
    	add_meta_box('tagsdiv-' . MEDIA_TAGS_TAXONOMY,
    		__( 'Media-Tags', MEDIA_TAGS_I18N_DOMAIN ), 'post_tags_meta_box', 'attachment', 'side', 'core', array( 'taxonomy' => MEDIA_TAGS_TAXONOMY ));
    }

    @ptriek,

    Finally got a small update out. Includes a fix per your suggestion. Thanks.

    I've been using Media Tags for nearly a year now and was used to the Metabox being in the new Post/Page, in fact I quite liked it there as it suited my website format.
    I was quite baffled when it disappeared about an hour ago.
    I've used the post by ptriek and reversed the change.
    How about an either or option on the next update, if possible?

    @gingernutter21,

    Probably not. As noted in this thread the issue was really a bug. Having the Media-Tags section on a normal post type like Posts/Pages was wrong. It should really only be displayed on Media/Attachment/Image hence the name of the plugin 'Media-Tags'.
