[resolved] Media on a secure page is not secure (4 posts)

So I got a post secured, but it includes a video. If someone sends the link to the video (uploaded, not youtube hosted) to another person, it's easily accessible. How do I make sure that the video can be accessed only via the secured by PMP page?

I'm not entirely sure but you might need to use a file management plugin that hooks into the members only function of paid membership pro. I'm using one and it protects all downloads of files if a user is not logged in.

The simplest approach though, would be to use the [member level] shortcode to only show the content where the video is if a user is a certain level member. Works great with regular content, so it should for a video as well.

    Thanks,
    Bob

    Thank you, Bob.

Another thing that seems to work to secure media is embedding it using a gallery player - then the link to the video doesn't get displayed and cannot be passed on.
