   I didn't have a backup of blog, and now i'm xxxxx. I accidently delete my blog or maybe a hacker did. Hostgator was able to restore some of it but not my photos, I have lots of photos. So I re-loaded them, and it's not working just get an x in place of the photo. I de-activated all pluggins, that was easy because ALL my pluggins were gone too, and my header...:( I am using apricot them, but even when I switched to twenty twenty it doesn't work. I even tested by trying insert into a new post, no photo showing up just a big square with an x. Please help you kind wp gurus. http://www.dlcinteriordesign.com/blog

   I get a 403 on this image:

   Forbidden

   You don't have permission to access /blog/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/76506-Royalty-Free-RF-Clipart-Illustration-Of-A-Black-And-White-Heart-Crown-And-Hands-Claudaugh-Design1.jpg on this server.

   Check your file and directory ownership and permissions starting at /wp-content/uploads >

   thanks for the post:) sorry i don't speak geek, where do I do this and what exactly am I checking for? In my wp admin, media settings is set to:/home/zarita/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads
   the full url path setting is blank

   Neither do I. :-)

   Some helpful information on file and folder permissions and some ways to change them when you need to;

   Changing File Permissions

   If you are unfamiliar with setting basic file and folder permissions on your site, you might be able to contact support at your host for assistance. Sometimes they'll walk you through it or even give you a hand with a little troubleshooting.
