I purchased a WordPress video blog for my wordpress.com blog. In the blog I can upload up to 2g of media. I recently purchased a domain and hosting service and converted to a wordpress.org blog. To my dismay, I could not load a video that I had on my .com blog because media is limited to 10mb. What can I do to be able to load larger files to my .org blog?

Contact the support group or consult the FAQ on your hosts site, and ask them to advise/assist you on their preferred method of increasing/overcoming the file upload size limitations that they currently have set in php.ini. If they don’t allow you to set a size higher than their current 10MB upload limit, you may be able to just use your ftp client to upload those larger files to one dedicated directory on your site. Then you could probably just import them into your media library using a plugin such as this one: Add From Server

The limit is not from WordPress, it’s from your hosts.

    Do what ClaytonJames has suggested.

    Please read http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

WordPress.org support is for self-hosted WP. You need to ask this at http://en.support.wordpress.com/
