Media Library Tab Blank (6 posts)

When editing a page, clicking Add an Image brings up the modal box to upload a new image and displays correctly. You can add an image from your computer or use the "From URL" tab to add an image that way.

However clicking on "Media Library" just makes the modal box go white and not display anything. These means you can't add an image from the library. We have 72 images in the library and can view them without problems through the Media menu.

I installed the NextGen Gallery plugin which added another tab to the media uploader for NextGen Gallery which works fine and now means I can load the Media Library tab, however when the Media Library tab displays, the tabs disappear so although you can add an image from the library, you can't get back to the upload or NextGen tabs.

Hi cehwitham, have you tried disabling the NextGen Gallery plugin to see if somehow it is causing this conflict?

Didn't have NextGen Gallery installed to start with. Installing and activating NextGen gives me access to Media Library Tab but Media Library tab doesn't show other tabs across top.

Without NextGen Gallery activated, I just get a blank page when I select the Media Library Tab.

Hi cehwitham, I'm not quite sure why this is happening, but I did dig up a few similar threads that are having similar problems, which may help resolve yours:

[resolved] Media library seems empty although showing image count

Media library empty though media are displayed on blog

[resolved] Media Library not displaying media

Hi cehwitham, were you able to get this issue resolved?

    Hi Brad,

I didn't resolve the issue but uploading to 3.3.1 has fixed the problem. Shame incase anyone else has the same problem but we run loads of sites with very similar configurations and only one had this problem so think I might have accidentally changed some by accident.

    Thanks for your help.
