Media Library not loading from other places

    Hi, I’m using WordPress 3.9.2 and the Vantage theme.

    My media library works fine when accessing it directly, however will not load from any plug-ins or when trying to upload a logo through the theme’s settings interface. When uploading an image to the library indirectly (through plugins/theme) it says the file upload failed and to try again shortly, however going into the media lib directly I find the file HAS uploaded, but I can’t make use it because the media lib won’t load from anywhere else.

    This is really annoying, sorry I can’t provide much more information right off the bat, but the site is http://www.rcvys.org.uk/wordpress.

    I don’t understand what you’re saying. Theme setting’s interface, through plugins/theme, media lib won’t load from anywhere else… none of that makes sense to me.

    Can you go to the admin media library and upload an image there?

    Hi, sorry I’m not using the right terminology.

    Yes uploading from the admin media library works, but I cannot access anything in the media library from other areas, for example creating a Meta slider slideshow

    Do you have the plugin WP Retina 2x installed? I have the same problem like you and I’ve deactivated it and now it is working for me.
