madivadI discovered the other day (by accident) that if you upload several images at once from your computer, you can create a "Gallery". This presents nicely on a page and links back to the original image. Very nice indeed.
I know there are other image galleries out there, and I have tried a few of them, I do like this simple feature of the basic media library/gallery that (I think) is default.
What I can't seem to find however, is once I have several images uploaded, is how to create the same simple gallery view that I can if I upload them directly. I'm figuring I'm missing something. I know some menu options are missing from my install - the subject of another thread, but I'm wondering is creating a gallery (like when uploading from the computer) possible by just using the images sotred locally or even from a conglomerate of website URLs?
