   In the Settings » Media admin page I set the embed sizes as:

   Thumbnail size: Width 320 x Height 320
   Medium size: Max Width 300 x Max Height 300
   Large size: Max Width 640 x Max Height 0
   Maximum embed size : Width 640 x Height 0

   Yet when I upload an image the media library offers me these options:

   Thumbnail: 320x320
   Medium: 300x300
   Large: 620x620
   Full size: 1000x1000

   Why is the large size coming up as 620x620? Shouldn't it be 640x640?

   You might want to submit a bug report for this at http://core.trac.wordpress.org/... login with your same username/password as this forum.

   meanwhile if you need to work use just the width and keep the hight to ''

   @ barbapapa - thanks yea this is for a client site—I'm trying to make it as simple as possible.
