updated from 3.2 to 3.3.1. The MCE suddenly went ninja on me. Anybody has this problem? Took off all the plugins, updated the theme to the latest twenty elven. still no go. got MCE as a plugin. no go. has anybody encountered sth similar?
i have another WP MS installation that i upgraded from 3.2 to 3.3.1. No problems there!

The MCE does not show and the the text is white. It is selected on the snapshot, hence the light blue.
It's not specific to multisite. Any teeny tiny javascript error will case the tiny mce to not work.
reupload the wp files again.
You may need to delete the wp-includes and wp-admin folders, and reupload from a copy from http://wordpress.org/download/
