Maximum execution time ... (5 posts)

After upgrading to WP2.5 we are having odd issues that generate this:

Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 90 seconds exceeded in /home/pderby/www/politicalderby.com/wp-includes/post.php on line 1274

For a while it was occurring with wp-db.php, and it was a time of 30 seconds. I had the server admin upgrade that to 90 seconds, but still getting the same problem.

Is there a solution to this? Is there something simple that is the problem? One thing I noticed was that this seemed to occur with images in posts, as one poster posted no problem without an image. Is this the image related problem that I saw in the sticky post (which btw, I followed the directions just before I posted this)?

Thanks, hope someone can direct me.

This appears to be just with images. People are able to post normal text posts.

    Can anyone help with this?

This was upgraded to be 360 seconds, but still getting an error with this. Is there any solution to this problem?

I think it's just WP 2.5 overkilling servers, even localhost servers. Having lots of issues, too. Extremely slow browsing on localhost...

Sadly, the client wanted to downgrade, not interested in WP 2.5 now because of all the hassles. Surely this should have been sorted out in testing?
