    Hello,

My client is having issues accessing her WordPress dashboard login page. I upgraded it two weeks ago and all seems well, except for this new issue.

Their MacBook Pro laptop running OS 10.7.5 and Safari 6.0.3 can't access the login page. They can't access it with Firefox either. They seem to be getting a white page and timing out (i.e., no login fields).

I can't replicate the issue on Mac or PC, although I'm running Mac OS 10.6.8 running Safari 5.1.9, which is older.

Anybody heard of this issue? Or have any ideas what I might do to correct it?

    Thanks,

    Max

Has she tried with a different internet connection or restarted her router/modem.

Thanks for you suggestion. I've passed it along to her. I believe she's tried it at home and at work, --Two different locales, but maybe she'd need to restart both...

Still no luck on this issue. The client can load wp-login.php on their laptop at school (running OSX Lion 10.7.5), but not at home using Chrome, Safari, and Firefox.

    Any ideas?

I've replaced wp-login.php in case there was a corrupt file, though I've been able to access the page on Mac using Firefox, Safari and Chrome; and PC using Explorer, Firefox and Chrome.

It's really not a WordPress issue if the site is accessible in other locations. Has she checked with her ISP at home? Have you tried at her home?

She could try flushing the DNS?

Thanks WPyogi. We'll give those suggestions a try. I haven't tried access at her home, because she's in the next state. I may have to though. I expect the idea of running terminal will be pretty intimidating to her.

Ha Ha - that's dedicated support (though depends on the state - I'm in California - so that would be at least a 5 hour drive). ISP's have been known to do really annoying and dumb things (understatement).
