   If you are comfortable with forms, Contact Form 7 is a good one - with complimentary plugins to this very popular plugin, you can gather the user info wanted...

   thanks for ur response,i used it in my site.It is just sending all the user data to admin mail.but i need like it should be a like regisration form as it must have number of fields and also we need to send matching profiles to the user mail ids.can u suggest me in this way
