I can’t see the background in your header, but have you used “background-position” before?

You’re not supposed to be editing the stylesheet or any theme files – Does your theme have a “Custom CSS” or similarly named section of the dashboard?

yes i added to that it didn’t make a difference, to elaborate im talking just for the masthead. Vantage has a generic setting to pick a picture for the masthead, but its repeating and not centered like im asking for apparently

Could you add that background in again so that we can see your issue?

i did but changed nothing
my custom CSS says
{
background-image: url(“http://sockmullet.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/godzillerpng2.png”);
background-position: center;
}

It’s still active and has cached your website in a state where the #masthead background isn’t there – We really need to see your issue to help.

What’s the entire CSS style for clarification, including the “#masthead” bit?
