   Hey, everyone. I did a search first, and found a few topics already about MarsEdit and 404's. The solution was to make sure the URL to xmlrpc.php was correct, but I've checked and double checked it (and it's correct).

   Here's the error message I get:

   Can’t do get recent posts for flammable animals because the server reported an error. The server returned an unexpected response code: 404.

   And when I look in the RPC console, here's what's in there:

   Anyone have an idea what's going on?

   Oh oh, almost forgot...the site is available at http://www.flammableanimals.com if you'd like to take a look. I changed the theme from K2 to the new 3 column one, since I thought that might be it...and that didn't do anything.

   Am running WordPress 2.0.5, here's a the list of plugins enabled:

   Admin Drop Menus

   Edit: Nevermind. I've contacted my host. It seems they're blocking any URL that contains 'xmlrpc'!

   Further information: After seeing a similar issue on another host, I'm pretty sure this is an issue with mod_security (or another filtering program - see the link I posted above). Contact your host and ask them to fix things, it's out of your hands.
