have had feed problems and overall good times since starting with WP but am having issues in marketing the blogs

There are many ways to market your blog using social media, online forums and through advertising. This forum is not appropriate for this kind of question. I would suggest that you join forums for webmasters and bloggers. http://www.webmasterworld.com/ is a good starting point for that.
