When my page loads I see the marker but not the marker description on the map. How do I get the plugin to automatically show the description? I am using this short code:

Also what does label=M mean? Are there other values I can use for label?

    [googlemaps]
    [googlemaps static=true]
    [googlemaps static=true label=M]
    [googlemaps width=200 height=200]

    Thanks.

Did you specify an description in the Google Maps meta box in the post edit page (WordPress admin)?

The ‘label’ paremeter is only used with static maps, and yes you can use other value (i believe it’s limitied to 1 character).

    Hi Remco,

Yes I have a description in the field. It displays the description in the admin panel. However when I load the webapage, the only way the description is displayed is if I click on the marker. I was hoping to have the description display on load of the map. I am using a dynamic map. Is this possible?

    Thank you!

Ditto! Me too. I’d like this too.

This is currently not possible, but we will add an option in the next release:
