    That is, if I’m understanding the question.

    What exactly do you mean by third party domain?

    (I’m still guessing the answer is “yes” tho.)

    I’m sorry for not being clear. It means I don’t own the domain and I don’t even have access to its nameservers — the only thing I can do is tell my client “Here’s my www record IP address. Now point it there so I can map it to my domain.com/example WordPress Multisite blog.”

    I’m sorry again if I wasn’t clear enough. I still don’t manage the arts of talking this geeky stuff that well. Thanks, though.

    tell them to create an A record that points to your IP.
