Mapped Site 301 Redirection (1 post)

I have two domains jihcommunications.com (Primary Hosted Domain) and jihcommunications.co.uk (Mapped domain with the .com) - the primary .com domain has a WordPress Site on it.

We use various email accounts on the .co.uk which are all managed within the .com hosting account…because it is mapped.

    The problem:
There is a homepage rotating slider on the site that works fine with the .com but does not rotate on the .co.uk even though they are the 'same' site. The theme developer has told me that the slide is very file location sensitive and to do a 301 redirect but I cannot get it to work. The .htaccess file is the same one for BOTH domains.

If i set up a straight .co.uk to .com redirect it loops and displayed nothing.

Have you any idea how to get the.co.uk to go to the .com using the .htaccess?

The only other options to unman the domains and host them separately but there are huge implications with the various and multiple email accounts setup on the hosting package.

    Thanks
