Many blogs; one database or one each?

I’m starting several blogs at the same time.

What are the pros and cons of
A. Multiple blogs in one database
B. Each blog has it’s own database

I know it will be easier to back-up one database vs multiple.
For security reasons having multiple databases might be better.

What would you consider in making this decision? Thanks.
