I cannot seem to get this plugin to work on another site.

    http://standard.jamesdibben.net/

In the slider options in the “Display slider on:” section if I [DON’T] choose anything then the formatting is broken and I get the page you see above.

If I choose to show the slider on the ‘home’ page in the selection box then the slider works but it shows twice.

    I’m using version 2.3.6

I’m quite confused. I’m not doing anything different than this site here. http://stainlesssteeldroppings.com

Oh, and I’m using a static home page using a custom page template.

What wp version are you using? I did this test with wp 3.1.2, theme Twenty Ten that comes default with WP and it worked. Have you tried changing the theme?

To detail what I did: set a page to be the front-page and inside page.php I inserted the php code. All went well, no problem. Also note that the plugin needs wp 3.1+ (but I guess you already know that).

And setting WP_DEBUG to true would be helpful. This way we can see the errors and where the problems are.

I enabled debug on the site.

I am using 3.1.3 and added the code to page.php of my theme.

Thanks for your help. I’m really lost on this one.

I have a strong feeling that is not the plugin causing this error. Or at least, not the internals of the plugin. If you disable FA Lite it all works OK? (stupid question, you just said it works if you enable it on home page)

I’m saying it’s not the plugin because I don’t order by menu_order column in none of the files.

Also, please try changing the wp theme to something else.

    Yup, you are right!

I’ve messed up my theme somehow. I changed to 2010 and there are no errors, anywhere.

    Thanks for your help!

I’ll work on the theme now
