• I’ve just installed W3TC manually after the server permissions were too restricted for it to set itself up on activation.

I followed the Shell steps but it still thinks some files are missing. I can still see the pink box at the top of the plugins page that says:

W3 Total Cache Error: Files and directories could not be automatically created to complete the installation.

Then in the required changes box it says:

Execute next commands in a shell:
    cp /home/***/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/wp-content/advanced-cache.php /home/***/public_html/wp/wp-content/advanced-cache.php
    cp /home/***/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/wp-content/object-cache.php /home/***/public_html/wp/wp-content/object-cache.php

I can confirm that these files are in the correct place and are set to 644.

    Is there anything I’ve missed?
