Support » Fixing WordPress » Mantra Theme Bottom Widgets Don't Show Up

  • I am using Mantra theme and for some reason, the bottom widget area disappeared. The colors are there in the Colors settings, and the links are there in the Menu, but nothing shows up in Firefox or Safari.

    Any ideas?

  • Have you checked Appearance->Widgets to see if the footer area is still there, and still has widgets containing your content?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the widgets are there but they don’t show up. Before they disappeared the colors of the widgets were there, as chosen in the Mantra settings, then the links and ClickBank disclaimer were there. But now there’s nothing.

I have a Fiverr.com guy who said he can search around for $20. I’ve used him a lot and he does a great job, but was trying to see if I can figure it out first.

Can you provide a link to your site?

    Sure, it’s http://KaraOh.com

The sidebar widgets are rendering, but not the footer. Are you using a widget (or two) in the footer that you are not using in the sidebar? If so, you might try de-activating those plugins one at a time to see if your footer comes back. Also, did Mantra upgrade just recently? You could try switching briefly to one of the default themes to see if the footer comes back, that would suggest a theme related issue.
