Manifest Theme Remove Author

    in the latest download, this seems to be in archive.php:

    <!-- <h4 class="vcard author">by <span class="fn"><?php the_author(); ?></span></h4> -->

    however, this is commented in the html and should not show;

    possibly, you have an older version (?)

    Thank you. Unfortunately, I do have the latest version of the theme. I’ve searched every template and there are no more occurances of author tags to delete. This is driving me bonkers. Will do more research. ..

    I really appreciate your help!
