   I'm getting spam from bogus people with bogus email address with broken links to bogus sites and it's getting annoying...

   Anything that can be done about this?

   Have you tried out the Akismet antispam plugin? It comes with WordPress and most folks feel it does a pretty good job. I, personally, like to combine it with the Bad Behavior plugin.

   You may find some more ideas at Combating_Comment_Spam in the docs section.
