Participants Database
[resolved] Manage fields page is blank (almost) (3 posts)

I recently installed the participants database on a fresh install of 3.4.2. Most of the plugin seems to be normal, however, when I click on the Manage Fields setting, it only shows a mostly blank page with the page title and no fields to manage or customize. This is proven out when I add the [pb_signup] shortcode to a page and it only displays the SIGNUP button and that is all.

I am operating on Ubuntu 11.04. Any help would be appreciated.

    Additional information:

I have noticed from the apache error logs that a file cannot be found. I have further discovered it cannot be found because file path is incorrect.

I have all my plugins installed in /home/myname/wp-plugins. the wordpress folder is in /var/www. In the wordpress folder, I have a link for plugins to /home/myname/wp-plugins. For some reason, when participant's database is making a call, it's building the following path:

    /var/www/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/home/myname/wp-plugins/...

This is happening at initialization and the initial tables are not getting set up. Therefore, my manage fields page is blank.

    How can this be fixed?

    Thanks,

We can mark this resolved. I disovered that my problem was where I keep plugins.

I maintain all my plugins in a separate folder (home) because I operate multiple folder sites. I link to my plugin folder so that all sites have access to the same plugins. As soon as I put the plugins for this site back under its wordpress folder, everything began to work correctly.
