   I'm wondering how to manage attached images to a post. I'm using a theme that displays attached images as slideshow. I've found how to manage attached images (add, delete) only inserting the WP built-in gallery placeholder. Is there a more smart way to manage it? I also like to be able to unattach an image and eventually reattach it to another post/page.

   I wish this feature were supported natively. I have discovered this great plugin (though I have not yet tested it) that may be exactly what you're looking for...

   Yes, I created a modified version of this wonderful plugin to make it work for images exactly the way I like. If the original author will authorize me, I'll publish it in the plugins repository.

   No agreement was find for the release of an official plugin with the original developer, so it will not be released, sorry.
