When I go to my site, http://www.justatitch.com, there is a weird pop-up that says "An applet from 'infcom.it' is requesting access to your computer." I deny it but it returns. I've run a few plug-ins for malware, but nothing is coming up. I don't know how to fix it. Help!

Are you still having a problem with this? I'm not getting the pop-up on my computer.

The malware problem, you can report to your hosting provider also. They may be able to rectify where the malware is actually.

@amyestes are you still having an issue with this?

  5. @perezbox? Honestly, you really don't need to do "check up" posts like that. ;)

Just subscribe to the thread you want to monitor and if someone replies you'll get an email. No need to keep status checking on threads as you have been doing.

If the OP needs more help they'll either reply to their old thread or create a new one.

@jan dembowski only reason I am doing that is because they are sitting there and I'm not sure if its resolved. I see there is a resolved / close ticket option, may be a good idea to use it after a period of time.

While I understand your point, sometimes simply asking if the issues still exists will help move the discussion on, don't you think? Or is the plan to leave these tickets open indefinitely? You can see how it has helped in some of the other discussions.

Case in point, this ticket, where exactly did we leave @amyestes? I'm confused.

    :)

@jan dembowski I see your point though. This is an old thread, I wasn't paying much mind to the date and time just trying to resolve issues. I might be too tightly coupled with a normal ticket system where the objective is to resolve and close.

    I'll stop..:(

Back to the underworld I go

  8. No no, come out anytime you like, any help is always appreciated! ;)

But there is a vast ocean of unanswered threads. Think of all the people you could be helping instead? Resurrecting old topics (or getting status checks) just isn't really productive.
