Hi,
I am very new to WordPress, and I am having a few problems which I hope someone can help me with?

1. I have made a child theme for twentyeleven (www.spencer-white.co.uk)
but it appears very narrow, & I would like to make it bigger.

2. If I have to edit the CSS.style, do I use Firebug to do it? or do I put the code in the CSS.style page?

You would need to edit:
```
/* One column */
.one-column #page {
	max-width: 690px;
}
```
If you’re using the latest FF version please note that Firefox now has it’s own developer tools and much nicer than Firebug.

Right click > Inspect Elements, but first disable whatever you’re using to prevent right clicks 😉

No problem Spence. I got all tools listed here http://themeid.com/forum/topic/697/browser-developer-tools/ first one is new* buil-in and it’s called Firefox Developer Tool. My favorite 🙂
