Making the title and tag line italics; letter like (5 posts)

    Hello!

    My blog is a sort of letter; I'd like the title and tag line to be in italics to reflect this. I tried to do that using the following code:

    #site-title a {
    font-size:48px;
    } {italics;}
    body.page-id-421 > #page > #branding > a {
    display: none;}
    #tag line {font- size: 24px;}
    {italics;}

    Tried it in Firefox: no joy - does anyone see the problem please?

    Many thanks

    Try;

    #site-title a {
     font-style: italic;
    }

    Thanks
    It worked :)
    How would I search for the tag line property in the web site link you sent me? (thanks again)

    There is no tagline property - the #site-title a are assigned by the theme author to that element. Do some reading about how CSS works and you'll understand a bit more about how it works. That's a good site Andrew linked to but there are many other resources out on the web as well.
