   I am very new to blogging. And I'm old, so please bear with me. I'm not sure what the term is I am looking for, so I couldn't search on it effectively.

   My blog is blog.magic-city-news.com and if you go there, you can see that the two entries I have made both show in their entirety on the front page.

   I would like them to do like normal blogs and just have the beginning on the front page and then a "more" kind of link that takes you to the full entry.

   Questions:

   1. What is that called?
   2. How on earth do I accomplish it?

   While on the Write Post screen, look carefully at the toolbar buttons immediately above the editor. One of them is the "more" button. When you click it, the editor inserts <!--More--> into your post and that's what does the "read more" stuff that you're looking for.
