Making the original color scheme (3 posts)

    Hi

You could make an original color scheme (including the border lines between the sidebar links) so when a user installs mp6 they will not have such a sudden change, but instead be given the opportunity to change it themselves.

This means one color scheme that has the same colors that exists in the backend today.
The users will see that something has happened, and info will be seen that they can change the color scheme and easily also create a new by following simple instructions on how to do so.

If we leave the admin as it is and leave changing the scheme up to the user, we are in essence saying that they are equally good. If that is the case, then why are we changing it at all? That is a bad experience. If we have to instruct the user to change a scheme to the latest and greatest, that is a failed experience.

    What about something like this...

Begin with the new black MP6 and the news about the mp6 plugin in the Dashboard with a link to the user profile.

    In the drop down:
    MP6 Black
Classic (similar colors to the existing admin colors)
MP 6 light ( what about adjusting the background color of the top bar and left adminmenu from #e5e5e5 to #fcfcfc)
    Another color...blue/midnight? etc...

Color selector. User defined. I do not know if this is a good idea. But it does give the user an option.
