[resolved] Making Static Pages Look Like a Regular HTML Page (5 posts)

I have WordPress running on this page http://www.nationaleconomy.net/blog
I also have 4 HTML pages I'd like to put on WordPress.
The theme already looks the same for my WordPress page and my HTML pages.
How do I make an HTML page, for example http://www.nationaleconomy.net look as it does now in WordPress? I don't want any posts or the sidebar to appear on the page. How do I replace the standard post look with a customized layout on only that page?

I have read the article, it helps a lot. thanks.

yet, if the page that I wanted to create is the homepage of my site,
do you know how to do it? ... please advise.

You can create a Page that uses your custom page template, then designate that as your homepage at Settings -> Reading.
