Hi, I was wondering, How do u make it so your index page shots 1) newest posts by category, (like no 2 posts from 1 category) and thumbnails. Ex : Animeavenue.net . Anyone know how?

use the furthered image and pull the thumbnail image from the post. I know it may sound banana if you are not familiar with WP theme development. If you want a custom build theme then get some one to develop it.
But, again its nothing like do it your-self. If you want to give it a try, here is the full documentation.
