Making Content Wider

    I just got my blog going but I need the content area to be 55 pixels wider so I can use 640 pixel wide video. My theme is 2010 weaver white and I have tried to change the width but it just won’t change. Do I need to change permissions.

    Have you tried to edit the css? Maybe the width in the CSS is capped at 585px?

    Yes, it doesn’t change. I go to appearance, editor, styles make the change look at the site and see no changes so I go back and the original width is back to 940 from 995. If I can change the width of the blog then I can go back and change the the width of the content.
