   I would like to have some of the circles on the homepage link directly to an external site. Is this possible to do? If so, how could I do it?

   I would like the standard circles that are already being used on the homepage in this theme. However, instead of having them link to a post, I would like it to link to an external page.

   This is possible, though it would take some coding. You'd need to change content.php to pull back a URL of some kind (maybe from a custom field?) instead of the standard post data. If you go this route, I definitely recommend working in a child theme.
