• I want to make a page 2 and I started, but it looks like my blog, and I want to make a page two that looks like a page 2, without a big fat header. In the drop down menu there are three choices, but they all seem to have function not related to my goal. Plus there’s no way to see them. Much talk about overriding with child parent codex discussion has made this confusing. I don’t want to infect my current work with some cockamamie indiscretion. There is a lot of codex patches everywhere, but I don’t know how to use codex. I think my issue is simple. Am I wrong? Every time I get near some info that looks related, I read on and realize its something entirely different. I’m wasting days.

  • You could try a conditional statement that displays the header image on pages you’d like for it to appear on, and then not display the header for the pages that you don’t want it to appear. This code would probably be placed inside of you header.php theme file.
