Makiing my own theme

Hi, I am excited about making my own theme, so I have an images folder along with a screenshot, a style.css, and an index.php (even though no WP API functions used at the moment), but shouldn’t it still show in the my Manage Themes in the Administration Dashboard? Or is is b/c I don’t yet have WP API function in index.php (note: it’s just regular html)

**UPDATE: Actually I FORGOT to rename to index.php 🙂
