casaramarieI am trying to make a blog reflect an already existing website. I'm having a hard time, even with the tutorials on Word Press, so if anyone can offer ANY help (even just a push in the right direction), it would be greatly appreciated.

The website has a header image that I want the blog to have, but the header image serves as a navigation menu as well, with rollover links to different sections of the site.
Ultimately, I'd like to figure out if it's possible to make the header image of the blog reflect the header image of the site.
I was under the impression that the html could be inserted into the Word Press in making a template .... is that a correct impression? Or can I only give the blog the same color theme as the website?
Is it possible to use html code in the header image?
