Make smush it plugin die gracefully

    Can you guys make the smush it plugin fail more gracefully?

    Perhaps instead of freezing up the image library or image uploader if the server doesnt respond in 1-2 seconds, it just doesnt smush the image, and lets the admin know?

    Or maybe it tries again later to smush images that failed earlier?

    Hi guys,

    Thanks for posting on this. The plugin does provide a timeout feature.

    At Settings > Media, the How many seconds should we wait for a response from Smush.it? lets you specify a maximum duration so you don’t need to wait long for it to fail.

    Would that work for you?
